Welcome to CCV

Our members vary from small volunteer-based sporting clubs, through to very large clubs with multi-million dollar turnovers. All of our members have one thing in common – like us, they are not-for-profit entities designed to provide facilities, support and entertainment for their communities.

CCV assists its members with a variety of support services including:

  • Industrial relations support hotline
  • Dispute resolution
  • Governance issues
  • Liquor licensing
  • Government relations
  • Trade referrals and advice
  • Networking and learning opportunities
  • Human resource support
  • Food safety compliance
  • Regular Industry updates, newsletters and journals

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended our annual CCV Golf Day last week to support a worthy cause. Seeing club people together to support this fantastic initiative is extremely rewarding.

We are thrilled to have partnered with Challenge supporting kids with cancer to raise funds and support the lives of children and families living with cancer. We eagerly anticipate the future of our collaboration with Challenge, and we are grateful for the support of Latrobe Golf Club and Partners who sponsored the day and made our event a success.

The word Anzac has a unique place in Australian culture, and is protected under the Regulations to ensure its appropriate use. There are regulations preventing the use of the word Anzac in connection with any entertainment, trade, business, calling, or profession without permission from the Minister for Veterans Affairs.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) has sent out a reminder leading up to Anzac Day on Thursday, 25th April. A simple application form is available on their website to apply for permission to use the word Anzac. There is no cost to apply for a permit.
